About Muema

Muema Lombe, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, CSSLP, CRMA, moved to Silicon Valley from New York. He studied Finance at New York University’s Stern School of Business. His super power is Risk Management and successfully deployed this skillset at JPMorgan and most recently at a leading Silicon Valley SaaS corporation where he established and leads the Technology Risk Management function.

For the last decade he’s helped startups comply with public company compliance requirements, and he’s set up IT Audit and IT SOX functions for recently IPO’d companies.  For risk management geeks, his specialties include: SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-152, NIST IR7628, ITIL and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

He’s camera shy, hence no photo.  In his spare time, you can find Muema judging hackathons or helping founders with their startup ideas.

Muema was awarded the JPMorgan 5 Keys Award for Excellence and holds the following certifications:

  • Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
  • Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP)
  • Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT)
  • Certified in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA)

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
