A Halloween economy
by Miki SaxonBats and witches and pumpkins, oh my,
bailouts and options and fat cats who sigh;
a Treasury Secretary deep in the fold
and stock that reeks like decades old mold.
For Halloween you want a costume that scares,
one that will help you keep up with the bears.
So get out the digits, set up for the frey,
nothing is scarier than a 401K!
When the moon rises and the witches fly
you’ll find yourself laughing with wit that is wry.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it and hope your boss does, too.

It’s nice what we can do to entertain ourselves, sometimes. While reading this Halloween poetry, I couldn’t stop imagining my boss’ face when he hears it. He’s a really tough guy, but he always appreciates good humour.
