I’m Richard Barrett and I created One-to-One Business Relationships where I develop Customer Relationships that result in Sales.
Your business acquaintances are your best source of revenue; I coordinate a personalized program to show you how to create, maintain, and accelerate relationships with hundreds of people to increase your sales.
During my career, I’ve led teams in technology development, sales, and marketing for over twenty years and know first-hand that sales and services are driven by personal relationships, built on trust, over time.
I’ve built sales organizations for software systems, hardware products, and services, selling to Fortune 500 companies such as Hewlett Packard, H.J.Heinz, Compaq, AT&T, and Seagate.
I also have extensive experience with emerging companies. As President of Mobileforce Technologies, I delivered systems for field workforce operations, focusing on telecomm and cable company delivery teams.
I co-founded Adaptive Data Systems, which pioneered the Small Computer Systems Interface (SCSI) standard.
I served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for two start-up companies — Vinca and Nucleus — in the fields of network storage and database management, introducing products that captured market segment leadership and won industry awards.
I graduated from /rice University with an MEE (1975) and BSEE (1974) and have published five books, many professional papers in technical journals, and numerous articles in trade magazines .
