Miki,
Love the cartoon you posted. It speaks volumes. I heard someone say that success is really about removing hindrances.
Perhaps we are the enemy of our own success.
Thanks for the toon.

Hi Dan, hindrances are internal as well as external. I think being susceptible means dealing with the fear of success, which are far more common than most people admit. There is a proverb or quote that says we are our own worst enemies; it’s been around a long time and is still accurate.
Thanks for stopping by and adding your thoughts!

Miki,
Couldn’t agree more. I feel the fear of success myself. Do you have thoughts about where it comes from and how to deal with it?
Thanks
DAn

Dan, my apologies for being slow responding.
You do me great honor if you honestly believe that I have the answer to those questions. Various shrinks and gurus have been analyzing and suggesting solutions for decades.
The one thought I do have isi that there is no silver bullet that will magically eliminate the attitude, but since it is part of your MAP it can be changed. It’s also important to remember that one size does not fit all, so you need to customize, pulling a bit from here and a bit from there, mixing it together and then tweaking it to fit you.
