		<description>The GSA looks like a good simple tool that I&#039;ll have to try.  Another simple tool I got from one of my former bosses is what he called a significant events log.  It is basically a diary for each subordinate kept in an Excel worksheet.  Both positive and negative comments are entered as warranted.  It helps funnel the entire year into the review, not just the successes or failures of the moment.</description>
